Our adult beginner course is well under way, we ha Our adult beginner course is well under way, we had a great session today. The course was in extremely high demand this year so unfortunately we were only able to take on 12 people; we'd love to be able to take on more.

Here (vid) are our beginners today doing a warm up game we came up with called Superheroes. This was a pretty short game today, we only did a small number of heroes.

Edit: unfortunately half the video was cut off 🙄🙄 warmup details in the comments...

Ring buoys save lives. They should only be pulled Ring buoys save lives. They should only be pulled from their holders in emergency situations and returned afterwards to their holders.
Not dumped upstream, on the opposite bank of the river.

Edit: we were contacted by someone who let us know that the buoy was used in this instance by a group of lads to help one of their own who got into difficulty. Thankfully all are safe.

They did amazingly well to cope with the blustery and ocassionally wet conditions, spending 12 hours on the water (and a couple IN the water!) over the three days. No doubt they slept well after that weekend, I know the instructors did ;)

Thanks to all our instructors for running a safe and fun course!
Thanks a million to Sean Carleton Photography for the fantastic photos (more on facebook)!
