Hey Guys, the club has a small number of Northcore Hey Guys, the club has a small number of Northcore Changing mats. They are €25. You stand on the mat to change insulating your feet from the cold ground.  It has a toggle and two handles that pull up into a bag to keep all your wet gear together. Excellent for swimming, surfing, and kayaking. This is a fundraiser for the club, we appreciate your support. 🚣‍♀️
Remembering our friend Alex, unfortunately we are Remembering our friend Alex, unfortunately we are not able to have our memorial paddle this year because of the public health guidance.  But Alex is very much in our thoughts and hearts. As are his family and friends. ❤️
The Sligo Kayak Club committee and members would l The Sligo Kayak Club committee and members would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Anna O'Connor who passed away earlier this week. 

We have very fond memories of Anna who paddled with us for a couple of years along with her dad Jim and her brother Luke who is still an active member of the club. 

Our heartfelt condolences to Jim, Eimear, Luke, Oscar and Walter. Please keep them in your thoughts at this very difficult time.

We had a surprise visit from Cathaoirleach of Slig We had a surprise visit from Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council Councillor Dara Mulvey and also Councillor Marie Casserly today. They were visiting our neighbours SRC and popped over to say hello while we were running a river safety and rescue course. Here they are pictured with smiling course instructors and students. 🙂
The club extended an invitation to the Councillors to join us on the water some weekend so we hope to see them out soon.

We had two wonderful groups of people out with us on the Garavogue River in sunny Sligo. We hope all who joined us today left with good memories, new friends and an appreciation for our amazing sport. 
Thanks all for sharing in our passion today and thanks to all the club members who came along to help out.
