What a fabulous morning on the water for our annua What a fabulous morning on the water for our annual Paddle for Alex. Thanks to all for making this a special day, to Trish for the catering and especially to the McGourty family for sharing this special day with us. ❤️❤️
Tonight we cancelled our Tuesday paddle and instea Tonight we cancelled our Tuesday paddle and instead took advantage of the low water levels to do a clean up of the Garavogue river in conjunction with Sligo Tidy Towns. It's quite disheartening to see the amount of vapes, beer bottles and pint glasses thrown in to the river. We're glad to be able to make a contribution to removing some of this rubbish from our waterways. We're especially delighted to have been able to remove that dangerous tree which was lodged against the bridge. Thanks to Derek, Róisín, Emily, Rory, Alan, Daniel, Deborah, Anna, Theo, Neil, Sean, Cathal, Jude, Fiachra, John, Catherine, Paul, Keith and Mike for mucking in.
